The Eurapco Alliance today announced that Juha Koponen, Group President & CEO of LocalTapiola Group and member of the Eurapco Board since 2020, has been appointed as the new Chair of the Eurapco Board. Effective 1st of March, Koponen succeeds Oliver Schoeller, CEO of Gothaer and member of the Eurapco Board since 2020, who served as Chairperson for the past three years.

Juha Koponen is the Group President & CEO of LocalTapiola, and serves as the Chair of the Board at LocalTapiola General and LocalTapiola Life. He is also the Vice Chair of the board at Finance Finland, a Member of the Board at Elo Pension Insurance Company, and a Member of the Commission at the Finland Chamber of Commerce. Koponen has a background from several executive positions and positions of trust in tightly regulated industries in Finland and in Europe.
